KABUL (PAN): President Hamid Karzai was concerned at the rejection of his 17 cabinet picks by the Wolesi Jirga, or Lower House of Parliament, his spokesman said on Sunday.

KABUL (PAN): The Wolesi Jirga has started the trust vote process for members of the new cabinet of President Hamid Karzai on Saturday morning.

KABUL (PAN): Afghan Parliament on Saturday approved the appointments of seven ministers and rejected eight others as the lawmakers voted on President Hamid Karzai's cabinet nominees.
