KABUL (PAN): Residents of Kabul demanded the government to ensure provision of potable water, extension of streets, construction of canalization system.
Most of the residents want the government to focus attention to improve security and promote the ailing agriculture sector.

Problems, demands and views of Sikhs and Hindus

The Sikhs and Hindu followers in Kabul said they will participate in the elections and demanded the next president to provide them with special ritual places for burning their dead, establishing schools on their own language for their children and providing them with governmental duties.
The number of religious minority was around 20000 people before the wars in 1992 however due to the violence and Taliban regime alike thousands of other Afghans they left their houses.

Demands, problems and views of Helmand people who have migrated to Kabul

Helmand people are not happy with the existing government, and they are going to participate in the upcoming elections.
About 800 families who have come from Helmand are living in tents west of Kabul near Qambar Square.
They have been living in Kabul for the past two years because of fighting in Helmand province, located in the volatile southern zone of the country.
The report below was prepared on the basis of interviews with four of the migrated people last week.
