JALALABAD (PAN): Security Transition Commission chief Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai on Tuesday said the people should not worry about post-2014 situation as Afghan security forces were strong enough to protect the country's sovereignty.

JALALABAD (PAN): Officials in eastern Nangarhar province refuse to share accurate information with the media on the current status of Pakistani border posts in Goshta district.
Despite a harsh reaction from Afghanistan, Pakistani forces established a gate and posts in Goshta. A week back, a clash between the two sides resulted in the death of an Afghan border policeman.

JALALABAD (PAN): Pakistani soldiers have started reconstructing the border gate that was razed during a recent clash in the Goshta district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official claimed on Sunday.
A border police official confided to Pajhwok Afghan News on condition of anonymity that the Pakistani soldiers began rebuilding the gate on Sunday afternoon.
He said the issue had been shared with relevant authorities, but so far no decision had been made on halting the reconstruction work in Konsari area.
