Engineer Muhammad Umar Sherzad Son of Haji Abdul Samad, Engineer Muhammad Umar Sherzad was born in 1966 in Pashmol locality of Panjwai district in Kandahar.
He completed his primary and secondary education at Ahmad Shah Baba High School in Kandahar. He took active part in Jihad against soviet and was a member of Mahaz Milli Afghanistan headed by Pir Sayed Ahmad Gilani. Later, he joined the party of Maulvi Younas Khalis.

Following information will be elaborated with regard of administrative structure, population, race, historical sites, tourism, agriculture, natural resources, education, health, civil societies and overall security situations of the strategically situated Farah province.
 Location:
Occupying a vast area, Farah is the western province of Afghanistan.
The province is surrounded by Nimroz, Helmand, and Ghor provinces. Farah shares a 290-kilometers long border with the neighboring Iran.

 
FARAH CITY (PAN): More than 180 prisoners in western Farah province have been on hunger strike against the authorities’ refusal to remit their jail terms, an official said on Saturday.
As many as 182 inmates, who went on hunger strike on Thursday, were yet to resume eating and drinking, a well-placed source confided to Pajhwok Afghan News.
