BAMAYN CITY (Pajhwok): Hundreds of residents of Kahmard district of central Bamayan province protested against missing of candidates’ names in the list and non-transparency of the ballot process in their district.
Around 400 people had staged a rally in the center of Kahmard district today and they complained from the election process in their area.
They said some people were deprived from Saturday’s voting and they were not let to vote on the second day.

BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials on Friday said Taliban insurgents attacked important electoral materials in Shibar district of central Bamyan province, but the materials sustained no damages.
Mohammad Azim Farid, Shibar district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that insurgents attacked on important electoral materials in Sangpar area of the district on Friday but they could not inflict damages to the materials.

BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): As many as 14 electoral offenses registered during campaigning for Saturday’s Wolesi Jirga elections in central Bamyan province, have been addressed, an official said on Wednesday.
Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) head for Bamyan, Mohammad Hadi Amiri, told Pajhwok Afghan News that no female candidate was among the offenders.
He said some of the offenders were banned for three to five days from running their electoral campaign as punishment and others fined.

BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Civil society activists and the governor of central Bamyan province on Wednesday urged the government and security forces to bring to justice the killers of seven civilians in Zabul province.
Holding a gathering in Bamyan City, the provincial capital, the activists demanded the government take stern action against the perpetrators.
