KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Some Wolesi Jirga candidates in southern Kandahar province on Sunday alleged the parliamentary ballot was massively rigged in the province and that they would not accept votes without biometric verification.
The candidates also demanded the central government dispatch an authorized delegation for inspection of a recount of all Kandahar votes.
Tens of Wolesi Jirga candidates attended the press conference in Kandahar City to raise their demands.

KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Wolesi Jirga candidates in northern Kunduz province on Sunday accused provincial election commission officials of their involvement in fraud on the election day and demanded a recount of all votes.
The candidates held a protest gathering in Kunduz City, the provincial capital, and demanded a transparent vote recount before election results were announced.

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): The Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) has invalidated thousands of votes in southeastern Paktia province and has referred four Wolesi Jirgacandidates to the Attorney General Office (AGO) over fraud allegations.

MAZAR-I-SHRIF (Pajhwok): Following complaints regarding alleged fraud and rigging in recent Wolesi Jirga polls in northern Balkh province, the regional Independent Electoral Compliant Commission (IECC) has reopened the seals of 567 ballot boxes.

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): The inspection and recount of votes of 60 polling stations in northeastern Badakhshan province have been kicked off in coordination with the Independent Election Commission (IEC), officials said on Sunday.
Hameedullah Sadaat, head of the regional Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC), told Pajhwok Afghan News they received complaints from 60 polling stations situated in Urgo, Yawan, Kesham and Yafal districts and Faizabad, the provincial capital.

BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Following complains and objections regarding alleged fraud and rigging in recent Wolesi Jirga polls, the votes of 32 ballot boxes in central Bamyan province have been reopened by the regional Independent Electoral Compliant Commission (IECC).
Mohammad Hadi Amiri, head of the local IECC, told Pajhwok Afghan News the process of inspection and recount of votes of 32 ballot boxes had been launched in the province amid at separating fake and transparent votes.
