1- Kalilullah:
Khalilullah is the son of Ghulam Mustafa. He is the resident of Atati village in Barg-i-matal district and was born in 1976. He is a 12th class graduate. Before filing his nomination to contest the provincial council election, he was cultural advisor with Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in Nangaraj area of Nuristan. He also served as teacher. He has no political affiliation.

Located in northwestern of Afghanistan, Nuristan province has eight administrative units including its capital Parun. Wama, Kamdish, Barg-i-matal, Duaab, Noorgram, Want Waigal and Mandol are its known districts.
1 – Parun:
Parun is the capital of the province containing around 30 villages. According to recent study, its population surges to 67,000 individuals. The province has little agricultural land with its residents eke out their livelihood from its densely forests.
2 – Bargmatal:

Son of Abdul Kabir Nuristani, Muhammad Tamim Nuristan is the grandson of Abdul Wakil Khan. He hails from Kantiwa, a locality in the central Nuristan and was born in 1957.
He completed his early education at his hometown while he received his secondary education in Kabul. He got his higher education in electrical from the United States.
He served as Jihadi commander in his home province in 1978. He was a member of Jamiat-i-Islami Party.

Having immense historical fame and importance, Nuristan is a known eastern province of Afghanistan. Throughout the history, Nuristan has been known by different names.
Geographically, the province is a mountainous region. During different times, it is known as Kafirstan and Bloristan. However, Bloristan was a name largely used for Kunar, Chitral and Kapisa regions.
