ايران: افغان سوداګر کولاى شي د چابهار بندر له لارې توکي صادر کړي

KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Iran’s consul general in southern Kandahar province Hameed Reza Karimi has said Afghan businessmen could export their goods and services to Europe and others countries via Chabahar port.
The Iranian envoy expressed these views at a meeting with Kandahar governor Humayon Azizi here on Wednesday.
Karimi said Chabahar port had recently been inaugurated and Afghan businessmen could export their industrial and agricultural products to European nations through the port.
He said Iran was trying to provide every facility at the port to Afghan traders so they could do their export and import businesses without any trouble.
Karimi said his country had also relaxed the visa regime to a great extent for Afghan nationals and ailing Afghans would be now able to get visa in one day.
The Iranian consul general said people to people contact between the two countries had improved and flights from Kandahar to Tehran and Mashad would help improve relations between the two countries further.
He pledged his country would provide 25 Kandahar ulema an opportunity to visit religious, educational and culture places in Iran.
Governor Azizi thanked the Iranian envoy for the relaxation in visas and urged the neighboring country to take Afghan businessmen to Chabahar port so that their trust could be restored and enable them to begin businesses via the port.
