BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Presidential candidate Gul Agha Sherzai, who arrived in central Bamyan province in connection with his election campaign, on Sunday promised asphalting 50 kilometres of roads in the province.
Addressing a gathering arranged by Hezb-i-Wahdat Milli Islami party in Bamyan City, the former Nangarhar governor also promised the construction of industrial parks, vocational schools, development of the tourism industry and electricity projects.

 
BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): The governor on Tuesday said government officials would not be allowed to campaign for election candidates in central Bamyan province.
Ghulam Ali Wahdat told a meeting of government officials at the Governor’s House that Bamyan residents believed in democracy and they would not allow anyone to work for or against any candidate.
He asked government officials, who attended the meeting, to stay neutral during the election campaign. “If a government servant is proved having campaigned, he/she would stand trial,” the governor warned.

 
BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Presidential runner Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai’s election campaign office swung into amid security concerns in central Bamyan province on Sunday.
Ramazan Fida, the interim head of Ghani’s team, asked the government to maintain security of provincial election offices -- hours after two aides of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah were shot dead in Herat province.
