BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Votes cast for presidential candidates at 10 ballot boxes were partially invalidated after a recount in central Bamyan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Votes of 11 suspicious ballot boxes were recounted in the presence of election observers and Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) officials at polling sites in Bamyan City and Kahmard, Yakawlang, Panjab, Waris and Shibar districts, regional IECC chief Niamatullah Tanin told Pajhwok Afghan News.

 
FAIZABAD/BAMYAN (Pajhwok): At least 74 electoral complaints had been recorded in northeastern Badakhshan province and the objections if verified could lead to putting 25 percent of ballot boxes in quarantine, an official said on Thursday.
Independent Elecoral Complaints Commission (IECC) official in Badakhshan Abdul Mussawir Sirat said four complaints had been lodged against presidential candidates, 40 against provincial council runners, 22 against election commission employees and six against government officials.

SHIBERGHAN/BAMYAN (Pajhwok): Officials of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Saturday torn apart posters of provincial council runners glued on the polling station building in central Bamyan province.
While posters of presidential runners in northern Jawzjan province were still pasted on polling station’s building, with the IEC official said was a stark violation of election law.
