KABUL (Pajhwok): Hundreds of religious leaders coming from a number of provinces to Kabul on Monday said they would support presidential candidate Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai in next month’s elections and urged him to implement Sharia law if he won.
Nearly 400 religious scholars attended the gathering in Kabul and announced their support to Ahmadzai, a former finance minister, who is among the 10 presidential candidates vying to succeed President Hamid Karzai.

PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): Disbandment of Illegal Armed Groups (DIAG) programme officials have expressed their concerns over the presence of illegal armed individuals in northern Baghlan province.
At a meeting with DIAG officials, police chief Lt. Gen. Aminullah Amarkhel said there were about 1,000 illegal weapons possessed by irresponsible individuals in the province.

پلخمرى (پژواک،٢٩ ميزان ۹۲): يک موتر پوليس که موتر حامل مواد انتخاباتى را همراهى ميکرد، در ولسوالى دوشى ولايت بغلان با ماين برخورد نمود و بر اثر آن، دو پوليس کشته شد.
شمس الدين سرحدى ولسوال دوشى، به آژانس خبرى پژواک گفت که اين موتر رينجر، حوالى ساعت ١٠:٠٠ قبل از ظهر امروز همراه با موتر حامل مواد انتخاباتى، براى توزيع کارت راى دهى، به درۀ کيان ميرفت که در برابر آن ماين انفجار کرد.
وى افزود که درين انفجار دو پوليس، جان باخته و چهار پوليس ديگر جراحت برداشته است.
