1- Subhan Naibi:
SubhanNaibi is the deputy head of the provincial council. Son of Haji Anwar, Naibi was born in 1989 in Nieli, the provincial capital. He completed his primary and secondary school in Daikundi. He worked with aid organizations in 2004. Besides working with aid organizations, he started social activities and established Tolo association through which he was encouraging youth for sport and avoiding them from addiction. In 2008, he became member of National Solidarity Party.

The central Daikundi province comprises nine administrative units including the Neily city.

1 – Neily City:

Neily is known as provincial capital of Daikundi province. Previously, Daikundi was part of central Uruzgan province, but it had upgraded to the status of a province nine years ago. Neily city is smaller as compared to provincial capitals of other provinces. The provincial capital could not be developed so far.

NILI (PAN): Internet and telephone facilities would be provide for residents of central Daikundi province with the inauguration of am optic fibre project, officials said on Sunday.
After the launching ceremony, the minister of telecommunicationd and information technology said in Nili the project covering Daikundi, Bamyan and Ghor provinces would be implemented in two years at a cost of $17 million

BAMYAN CITY (PAN): The newly-appointed governor for central Daikundi province, Abdul Haq Shafaq, on Wednesday said Afghan security forces needed access to more facilities and advanced weapons to effectively keep the Taliban at bay.
Shafaq, who replaced Qurban Ali Uruzgani, has previously served as the governor of Faryab and Samangan provinces.

DAIKUNDI (PAN): People in the central Daikindui province is likely to face severe food crisis this winter as food production had dipped in recent months due to erratic weather conditions.
Wheat production declined by 30,000 tonnes this year compared to last year’s 50,000 tonnes output, while the province needs 70,000 tonnes of wheat annually, Mehdi Mowahidi, director of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Department told Pajhwok Afghan News.
