Abdullah’s pamphlets distributed in Daikundi

NEILI (Pajhwok): Some individuals distributed pamphlets bearing pictures of presidential runner Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and Mohammad Mohaqiq inside two polling centres in central Daikundi province.
A resident of Neili, wishing anonymity, said a number of young men and women were asking people to vote in favour of the reforms and unanimity team and handed them the pamphlets of Abdullah.
Khan Ali, an observer of Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, raised objections to the move by Abdullah’s supporters and called it a violation of the election law. He said the individuals were expelled from the polling sites but they continued campaigning outside.
Separately, a local warlord Ali Gul entered a polling station in Daikundi and used abusive language against Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.
Reporters said Gul was chanting against Ahmadzai inside the polling station. He threatened people to vote Dr. Abdullah or be ready for dire consequences.
