PUL-I-ALAM (PAN): A suicide bomber ploughed into a police vehicle in the central Logar province on Tuesday evening, killing three civilians and two members of Afghan Local Police (ALP), an official said.
The attack took place around 5:00pm in Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital, near the former police headquarters, injuring eight policemen, including a commander, the Logar crime branch chief said.
Jan Mohammad Abid told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomber’s target was Sabz Ali, the ALP commander who was among the injured.
