Mohammad Anwar Jegdalik is the son of Mohammad Din. He was born in Jegdalik Village of Sorobi District in Kabul Province in 1952. He studied his primary school education at his hometown while graduated from Habibia High School in 1951.
He entered Dari Literature Faculty at Kabul University in 1973 and graduated from the university in 1976.
Earlier, Jegdalik served as a teacher of language and literature at Mahmood Tarzi High School in Kabul in 1989. He then served as a Jihadi commander in Kabul and surrounding areas.

 
KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): Four militants were killed and several areas cleared of insurgents in the Dasht-i-Archi district of northeastern Kunduz province, security officials said on Monday.
The fighters  were killed during an Afghan National Army (ANA) led-operation, 209th Shaheen Military Corps commander in the north, Maj. Abdul Basir Yahyazada, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

 
FAIZABAD (PAN): Tajikistan has closed its border with Afghanistan amid concerns over the outbreak of cholera in northeastern Badakhshan province, officials said on Tuesday.
Recently, 1600 people were infected with cholera in the Darayam district of Badakhshan, prompting the Tajikistan government to seal the border with Afghanistan four days ago, the governor’s spokesman said.

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): Kuchi tribesmen on Tuesday asked the government to create mobile voter registration centres for them in northern Balkh province.
They warned 95 percent of nomadic families could be deprived of getting voter cards if mobile registration services were not provided for them.

 
KUNDUZ CITY (PAN): Germany announced on Sunday 800 of its troops would stay in Afghanistan after 2014 when their military equipment and other facilities would be handed over to Afghan forces.
At a press conference, German commander in Kunduz Col. von Rechenberg said they would withdraw troops from the province by the end of 2013 and gradually from Afghanistan by the end of 2014.
