مناسبات سياسى افغانستان با پاکستان به حالت تعليق درآيد

KUNDUZ (Pajhwok): Hundreds of residents in northern Kunduz province on Thursday staged protest condemning recent Pakistan rocket firing on border areas.
The protesters, consisting of residents, lawmakers, provincial council members and civil society activists also demanded the Afghan government to suspend political relations with the neighboring country.
Earlier reports said that Pakistani military has fired rocket attacks where residents of eastern Kunar and Nangarhar provinces have been affected.
Pakistan’s military has also started building military installations in Angoor Adda locality of Paktika province, drawing reactions from residents and Afghan government.
The protesters urged US that in line with the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) they should react to Pakistan’s offence.
Mirza Mohammad Laghmani, a protester, said Pakistan has been interfering in Afghanistan’s affairs but Afghan government has been silent.
“Any silence in this regard is a betrayal to the blood of the Afghan people,” he added.
Maulvi Abdullah Qarluq, senate secretary, who had taken part in the protest, said: “The government should prevent Pakistan’s shameless and bloody attacks.”
He added the death of Mullah Omar and choosing of his successor showed that all sources of instability in Afghanistan emanates from Pakistan.
He said the government should announce its clear stance against the rocket attacks by Pakistan.
Habibullah Dost, a civil society activist, said: “Conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran is ongoing here, conflict between the US, China and Russia is being fought here. Our country has turned into a conflict zone between other countries and we’re being used as firewood.”
Amid anti-Pakistan slogans, the protesters gathered in front of UNAMA office in Kunduz city, asking the UN and international community to prevent Pakistan from such attacks in future.
The protesters also urged the Afghan government to suspend all relations with Pakistan until it stops the attacks.
