3 IEC staffers injured in Ghor blast

 
CHAGHCHARAN (PAN): Three election officials were injured when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in western Ghor province, an official said on Monday.
The Independent Election Commission (IEC) workers were travelling in Dolina district on Sunday when the car their vehicle hit the landmine, the regional IEC chief said.
Habibullah Wardak told Pajhwok Afghan News the three officials sustained slight injuries in the blast that partially damaged their vehicle.
No group has so far asserted responsibility for the bomb attack, the third on IEC officials over the past two weeks. A week ago, two policemen were killed and four others wounded in a roadside bombing in Baghlan province.
The police were transferring election materials to Doshi district when came under attack. A similar incident left four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers killed in Kohistanat district of northern Sar-i-Pul province.
