Uruzgan passport director killed in bombing

 

 
TRINKOT (PAN): The passport department head for central Uruzgan province was killed in a bomb attack early Tuesday morning, an official said.
Nasrullah was killed when the bomb exploded in front of his residence in Tirinkot, the provincial capital, 1st police district chief, 2nd Lt. Gul Agha, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The passport director was evacuated to the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries, Agha said.
Uruzgan police spokesman Farid Ayel confirmed the incident and said Nasrullah was attacked on his way to the office. No group has so far claimed responsibility.
