GHAZNI CITY (PAN): A mosque collapsed after a bomb blast, wounding four worshippers in the Andar district of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday.
The overnight explosion happened at a mosque in Lagharo village, the district chief, Qasim Desiwal, told Pajhwok Afghan News. He blamed the Taliban for planting the explosive device.
In reaction to the incident, he said hundreds villagers including youth and elderly people staged a demonstration against the insurgents. The fighters have not yet commented on the incident.
