KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A militant group was detained along with bomb-rigged motorbikes and a car in southern Kandahar province on Wednesday, the spy department said.
The six-member militant outfit had been tasked by the Taliban’s Quetta Shura with carrying out terrorist attacks in Kandahar, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) office said in a statement released to Pajhwok Afghan News.
It said six motorcycles and a corolla car all rigged with explosives were recovered from the group currently being investigated.
