Agriculture warehouse opens in Takhar

TALOQAN (PAN): An agriculture warehouse was inaugurated in northeastern Takhar province on Wednesday, an official said.
The facility in Qalbars area of Taloqan would enable farmers to store their products and sell them at the right time, the agriculture director said.
Mohammad Salim Sayee told Pajhwok Afghan News the warehouse cost $90,000, with farmers contributing $10,000.
The remaining $80,000 was given by the aid organisation Mission East, which works in Takhar.
Farmers said the warehouse, the third of its kind in Takhar this solar year, would help growers sell their products easily and prevent them from decaying.
