Militants kill 4 abducted engineers in Ghazni

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Officials on Tuesday said that four engineers kidnapped by militants in southern Ghazni province have been killed.
The governor’s spokesman Shafiq Nang told Pajhwok Afghan News the engineers were kidnapped by militants from Jaghato district to Khogyani district last Thursday.
The dead bodies of the kidnapped engineers have been recovered in Gusfandi area on the outskirts of Ghazni city this morning, he said. Nang did not provide more details about the victims.
A security official wishing anonymity said the engineers were working in government’s construction projects.
A provincial council member Hassan Raza Yousufi said the engineers were residents of Jaghori district of Ghazni province.
In a separate incident, three civilians were injured in a roadside bombing on Kabul-Kandahar highway in Ghazni city.
Ghazni Civil Hospital Director Baz Mohammad Himat confirmed receiving three wounded with two them in critical condition.
Taliban did not comment on the incidents as of yet.
