KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has arrived in southern Kandahar province heading a high-level delegation, an official said on Tuesday.
Samim Khpelwak, governor spokesperson, told Pajhwok Afghan News President Ghani arrived at the city around 11a.m.
He added the president directly went to Mandigak palace where he is holding talks with local officials, elders and members of civil society.
Noor-ul-Haq Ulumi, interior minister, Abdul Bari Jahani, culture and information minister, and some members of parliament accompany president Ghani in the visit, Khpelwak added.
