Khost PC seek uplift projects’ implementation

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Provincial council members of southeastern Khost province on Saturday said there was dire need of launching reconstruction projects in the province.
Amirullah Zraswand, head of provincial council, told Pajhwok Afghan News that he held detailed deliberations with the acting governor about important projects that the people had been demanding for long.
In addition of using imported electricity, building internal power dams is vital for running factories, he said.
Zraswand added that electricity needs of the province would be met if work on Mazghora, Toorkani and Dwamanda dams was launched.
Building of culverts, irrigation dams and embankment walls were also essential for some areas of the province, he said.
He said acting Governor Abdul Jabbar Naeemi promised to resolve the current problems faced by schools of the province. The governor assured that measures were being adopted to resolve all legitimate problems of the people of Khost.
