Don’t test people’s patience, Abdullah asked

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Governor of southeastern Paktia province Juma Khan Hamdard on Thursday warned the Reform and Unanimity team against testing the masses’ patience with inordinate demands.
“Dr. Abdullah is negotiating a deal on a government of unity on the one hand and trying to declare a parallel government on the other,” he said at a security meeting in Gardez, the provincial capital.
A day earlier, Abdullah threatened with a boycott of the ongoing audit if his technical demands were not meet. Fazal Ahmad Manawi, his team member, alleged the invalidation process had been hijacked politically.
Hamdard, supporting the Change and Continuity team in the June 14 runoff, criticised the government and the international community for their silence on the demands of Ashraf Ghani’s camp.
