ولسى جرگه اظهارات مسوولين در مورد پروژه هاى غزنى را نپذيرفت

KABUL (PAN): The Wolesi Jirga, or lower house of Parliament, on Wednesday adopted the amended  electoral law with some further amendments after a long-lasting debate.
Over the past 11 years, parliamentary elections were conducted under legislative decrees, but five months back, the Independent Election Commission (IEC) prepared a amended draft of the law and sent it to the Wolesi Jirga for approval.
After a prolonged debate, 101 of the 136 legislators present voted in favour of the new law that has 17 chapters and 67 articles.
The approval came after lawmakers agreed to some changes in 11 articles of the law that would be forwarded to the Meshrano Jirga or upper house for approval before ratified by the president.
