There is only one civil society, functioning in Uruzgan province.
1.      Tarinkot Civil Society Association:
The Tarinkot Civil Society Association has kicked off its activities last year. It has only six members. Headed by Basir Sadat, the association holds meetings to discuss problems being faced by the youth and then convey to the government to explore measures to resolve their issues at the earliest. 

Also pronounced as Rozgan or Uruzganis, the province of Uruzgan is among 34 provinces, which is located in central Afghanistan.
Uruzgan is surrounded by Daikundi, Zabul, Helmand and Ghazni provinces. Considered as a central province, Kandahar and Zabul are located to its south, Helmand to the southwest, Daikundi in the north while Ghazni is situated to its east.

The Uruzgan provincial council has nine members. One of them is new member while the rests are served in the previous terms as well.
1-Muhammad Hanif Khan Hanafi:
Muhammad Hanif Khan Hanafi is the son of Muhammad Rafiq, Hanafi belongs to Qatahi village of Khas-Uruzgan district of central Uruzgan province. Born in 1962, Hanafi served as member of upper house of parliament in its first period. He also served as a leading tribe elder. He has bachelor degree in teachers’ training.
2-Muhammad Zahir Khan Naderi:

Uruzgan province has eight administrative units including the capital, Tarinkot. Earlier, the province had six districts but recently two more district are created bring its number to eight.
Dihrawood, Chora, Gizab, Charchino and Khas Uruzgan are the districts, Tarinkot, the capital, while Chinarto and Surab districts are the two new districts, which status as a district is yet to be officially recognized.
 
1-      Tarinkot:

Amir Mohammad Akhundzada, son of Mohammad Rassoul Akhundzada was born in Zamindawar district of southern Helmand province in 1977. He is graduated from high school in Zamindawar district and completed college in the neighboring Pakistan when he was living there as a refugee.
Akhundzada has worked as district chief of Musa Qala in 2002 and as deputy governor of Helmand in 2006.

43- Hila Asakzai Maskinyar
Elected senator
Hila Asakzai Maskinyar is the daughter of Ghulam Nabi. She is born in 1971 in Khas Urozgan district of the province. She has his bachelor degree in economy, political science and sharia law. After completion of midwife training, she worked as field coordinator during elections. Maskinyar also discharged duties as health supervisor with the WHO. She served as district council and worked as chairperson for UNDP in the province.

TIRINKOT (PAN): Two separate explosions killed six security men and injured 14 others, mostly civilians, in the central province of Uruzgan, officials said on Tuesday.
The first blast took place in Tirinkot, the provincial capital, late on Monday, injuring nine civilians and two policemen, deputy police chief Col. Mohammad Salim told Pajhwok Afghan News.
