Dr. Frozan Fana, daughter of Gen. Mohammad Shafi, was born in 1969 in Kabul. She was graduated from Amena Fedawi High School and after that joined Kabul University and graduated from Kabul Medical Faculty.

She was a member of the youth association during her higher education.

Following graduation she served in Kabul Polytechnic clinic, in Wazir Akbar Khan hospital in orthopedics and trauma wards and served as advisor to a health NGO in Afghanistan.
