4 campaigners of a candidate killed in Paktia

GARDIZ (PAN): The economy of Paktia province depends mainly on agriculture, trade and semi trade activities, residents said.
Geographically, the province has little plain area suitable for agricultural purposes, however, the productive nature of little area produces greater profits for the farmers.
Agriculture and Livestock:
Niaz Mohammad Lali Zadran, provincial head of agriculture department was of the opinion that 75% people were associated with the profession of agriculture.

1 – Aryoub Radio:
 
Aryoub is considered as one of the active radio channels in southeastern Paktia province. It is functioning in Aryoub district and was established by the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) back in 2008. The radio broadcasts programs from 6: 00 am till 10:00 pm. It has two employees.

Juma Khan Hamdard, the governor of Paktia province is born in 1954 in Balkh district of Balkh province. He is graduated from a high school. Hamdard was a prominent jihadi commander in Northern provinces during the Russian invasion and was appointed by Hezb-i-Islami Afghanistan as organizing director of the party there.
 

The southeastern Paktia province council has 15 members:

1 – Shaista Jan Ahadi:
Son of Haji Bakht, Shaista Jan Ahadi was born in 1982 in Delja Manga district of Paktia province. He completed his primary and secondary education in Pakistan and graduated from Pattan high school. Ahadi was appointed as education department head in Delja Mangal district and currently serves as head of the provincial council. He was the provincial council member during the past tenure.

Paktia province is located 115 kilometers to the southeast of the capital Kabul. It is the central province of southeast zone with 14 administrative units including the capital Gardiz.
1-      Gardiz City:
The Gardiz city is the capital of Paktia province and has developed provincial government administrative infrastructure and personnel.
The city has the population of approximately 400,000 individuals with their main occupation are agriculture, trade and orchards. Most of its residents are working abroad to earn their livelihood.

Known as one of the mountainous provinces of the country, Paktia is located to the southern part of Afghanistan with an area of 16,862 square kilometers. It is located at around 1,500 meters above the sea level.
The province has 13 districts including the provincial capital. 
The population of Paktia province was estimated 500,000 during President Rabani government. However, according to the recent survey conducted by health sector and other related organizations estimated at 1,500,000 individuals.

Known as one of the mountainous provinces of the country, Paktia is located to the southern part of Afghanistan with an area of 16,862 square kilometers. It is located at around 1,500 meters above the sea level.
The province has 13 districts including the provincial capital. The tribe reside in Paktia are Pashtun who primarily speak Pashto with the exception of few families living in the capital, Kardiz who speaks Dari language.
