KABUL (Pajhwok): The file of last year’s presidential election is being closed within next two days, announced the Independent Electoral Complaints Commission on Tuesday.
IECC Secretary Chaman Etemadi told media persons that no major case of rigging and fraud remained uninvestigated.

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) on Monday said electoral objections from some provinces were on the table with commissioners for final decision.
Mohammad Reza Fayaz, IECC deputy spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that categorization and review of some objections had been completed and the process would be wrapped up on schedule if no problem happened.

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Saturday said the vote audit and recount process in some suspicious polling stations has not been started yet, pending correction of the final list in this regard.
Sayed Zabihullah Sadat, acting IEC spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the commission was ready for vote recount and audit of suspicious polling stations.

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) on Tuesday announced closing registration of appellant complaints and officially starting addressing 6,300 complaints.
Zuhra Bayan Shinwari, IECC head, told a press conference in Kabul that the appellant complaints were registered from 29 provinces.

KABUL (Pajhwok): The appellant court in Kabul has sentenced a number of former Independent Election Commission (IEC) and Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) commissioners to two and a half years in jail each.
