LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two employees of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and a policeman were gunned down when militants attacked a convoy transferring ballot boxes in southern Helmand province on Monday, the provincial police chief said.

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Thousands of armed militants have been planning to disrupt the presidential runoff vote in southern Helmand province, but Afghan forces have adopted all necessary measures to thwart their evil designs, an official said on Friday.
