GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Afghan Local Police (ALP) General Director Gen. Ali Shah Ahmadzai on Monday acknowledged some groups opposed the force that was poised to play a crucial role during next year’s elections.

Ghazni province has eighteen administrative units, including the provincial capital
Provincial capital: Ghazni city is called the city of the beloved (awleya) and has international popularity. The old city and the Bala-i-Hesar (castle) are the symbols of the history of the city, trade has tremendously improved in the city, because it is the hub of four routes to various destination.

GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Residents and some public representatives from Ghazni province say those living in remote parts could not travel to district centres for obtaining voter registration cards due to insecurity on roads.
A provincial council member and resident of the Andar district, Amanullah Kamrani, said remoteness of registration centres and insecurity remained a major challenge facing residents.

 
GHAZNI CITY (PAN):  Almost all government offices have been closed in 12 districts of southern Ghazni province for more than four years, officials said on Wednesday.
Workers of the prosecutor’s office, district court, judicial organ and agriculture department are receiving salaries, while sitting at home, the Qarabagh district chief said.
