Question 1

Naqeebullah, 34, resident of Ghazni, says: “Fighting is there for over three decades. I don’t know when will it come to an end.” How will you help Afghans unite to ensure peace and bring prosperity to their country?

Dear brother, yes indeed I agree with you. If I became your president, I do have a comprehensive agenda. First we all must seek the bless of Allah and that is the Quran and Sunnah of [the prophet] Mohammad Rasoolullah. The next step is providing justice to the people of Afghanistan. Initially the first step is to give land to those who do not have land or have less land which my team offers 50 jareeb (about 24 acres) for each landless family. It will restore trust and bring unity and security to 95% of the people.

Question 2

Muhammad Latif, resident of Nawabad village of Shindand district of Herat province, lost eight family members in foreign forces' bombing. He says: “I was the only family member out of home the night the foreign troops bombed the area. What is your plan to stop such irresponsible air raids and how will you overcome the obstacles of translating your plan into action?”

My plan in this regard is to regenerate negotiation with NATO and UN forces to respect the will of our people and accept the rule of our constitution; do not interfere in our internal affairs and leave the security matters to our Government and bring them under a new platform of operations under Afghan supervision. And all this could be done if the 34 provinces stand behind me as a one family.

Question 3

Amanullah Babakarkhel (65), resident of Atash village of Khan Abad district in Kunduz, says: “I wish Afghans, whether in or out of government, to unite and live in peace. What is your plan for bringing armed opponents of the government into the political and national mainstream? Please also explain how you will deal with those accused of war crimes."

All we need to have is a trustworthy God-fearing leader in the country, which we do not have yet.

As a son of the oppressed people and Mujahed nation of Afghanistan, I committed myself to the service of my brave but sidelined nation, my general population, to provide trust and restore trust and give the land of the government which is uncultivated and will be cultivated and  it will bring a new era of love, unity, and a strong economy.

Question 4

Gul Rahman (39), resident of Chak district of the central Maidan Wardak province, says the quality of education in schools is dismal. “Many Afghans cannot afford to send their children to private schools and universities. If no remedial action is taken, children of the poor will be deprived of their right to education. How can you enhance teachers' educational qualifications and increase the quota for admissions to centres for higher education to ensure equal opportunities for all?”

Yes indeed I agree with you and that is why in my plan I am reforming the education system radically in the country. The education system will be free to all and will be redesigned. For example: Our children will go to Headstart schools (preschools) at 4 years old and they will learn just the basic thing, names etc. At 5 years old they will go to kindergarten-style schools where they will learn ABCs and other writing and reading, and at 6 years old our children will go to regular schools and madrassas, they will be able to do writing and reading. And at 4th grade our children will start learning religion and computer with any foreign language. The government will provide some foods between the Headstart and primary schools and all universities will double their capacity and offer a quality system for all poor and rich the same.

Question 5

Faiz Muhammad, 48, resident of Kabul, says: “I'm a labourer but don't find job on a regular basis. I have five children. What is the reason of joblessness and what are your plans to provide employment for the people?”

Again brother if I was elected before anything else, my government will give 50 jareeb land to the poor like you. It will not be free but after building a home, school, parks and electricity you will have that job to establish your new life and the government will help you to stand up by your own feet and then after a year you will be able to repay your yearly payment for your property.

Question 6

Nazako is a resident of Shiberghan, capital of Jawzjan. Her sister committed self-immolation. She says: “My sister took the extreme step because of the ill-treatment meted out to her by their step brother.” More than 500 such incidents took place in different parts of the country last year. What is your plan to prevent these incidents and alleviate women's plight?

Dear sister, Allah gave you more rights than a man. All you have to do is learn from Quran and sunnah of Rassolullah and I will declare 65% rights to the women against 35% to the men according to Sharia law  and I want to invite you and all my sisters around the country and abroad to come and support my candidacy because we respect our sisters’ rights, our mothers’ rights, and will give a better position to any sister that I find better educated than man. Yes come in and empower yourself by standing with your brother Zabihullah Ghazi Nuristani. Telephone

Question 7

Najeebullah (27), a dweller of Kabul, says: “I’ve a case with an influential man. I was confident of my success. But when the case went to the government, it was decided in favour of my rival – thanks to the bribes and influence he used. What is your plan to eradicate administrative corruption from all departments?”

Believe me when you and everybody supports me as your president then the same day inshallah the bad days for the people like you will be over. We will straighten those bad guys by the power of justice; we will remove them by their roots inshallah.

Question 8

Habib Gul, resident of Asmar district of Kunar province, says: “We’re deprived of electricity although we’ve ample water in our river flowing into Pakistan. Afghanistan has an estimated 75 billion cubics of water and 80 per cent of it is used by our neighbours. What are your plans for tapping these resources and providing clean drinking water to the people?”

Dear brother you know better about me, where I am coming from? I promise you and my Afghan nation that I will build more than one powerful dam on Kunar and Nuristan and Daripeach and Laghman rivers to industrialize four eastern provinces of Nengarhar, Kunar, Nuristan and Laghman. In that way we will eliminate the debts of our government and establish agri-industrial state of Afghanistan inshallah.

Question 9

Sixty-year-old Muhammad Rahman, a shopkeeper in Khost province, says: “Neighbouring countries have been interfering in internal affairs of Afghanistan for the past 30 years. We are facing problems because of the foreign presence and the neighbours. We are concerned about that. What are your plans to address that concern of the people?”

Respected brother, that is why I am running, because of those concerns too. As I said before we must bring every Afghan to the big family, just one family, not Pashtoon, Tajek and Hazara or Hindu. We need to bring one unity to the Afghan nation, one brotherhood, and one trustworthy leadership who know your pain, who share your sorrow and happiness, and that you can see in me; because I belong to you disturbed nation, our pains are the same.

Question 10

In your view, what are the top qualities an Afghan president should have? And what qualities do you see in yourself as a candidate for the top slot?

Yes indeed a leader must be God-fearing, down to earth, and brave; trust-keeper and trustworthy person; intelligent, sharp-thinking, peace lover, peacemaker; experienced with the past 34 years of troubles that our country faced; creative with new ideas, committed to people's service and justice for all, a man of action and the man of decision, committed to development with justice. I see this in me and I wanted to put it on display and it is already on display to my nation.
