215- Haji Khair Muhammad Aymaq

Son of Ekramuddin, Haji Khair Muhammad Aymaq is born in 1962 in Sancharak District of Sar-I-Pul Province. Aymaq’s mother language is Dari but he speaks Pashto and English fluently. Aymaq completed his secondary education at Zargon Kot High School in Sar-i-Pul in Sancharak District. He graduated 12th class in 1980. After completing his education, Aymaq joined the Mujahideen and was a known jihadi commander with Hezb-e-Jamiat Islami Afghanistan during the war years. Aymaq was elected to parliament in 2005 and he participated in the Emergency Loya Jirga in 2002 and the Constitutional Loya Jirga in 2003.

Said Muhammad Hassan Sharifi Balkhabi is the son of Sayed Hasan, and is born in 1974 in Balkhab District of Sar-e-Pul Province. His mother languge is Dari but he speaks Pashto and Arabic. Balkhabi complegted his primary and secondary education at the Said Jamaluddin School in Balkhab District in 1995. He earned his master degree in Islamic Religious Studies from Qum University in Iran in 2001. During the jihad, Balkhabi was a judge and supervisor of Balkhab District, as well as communication officer and member of the jihadi Provincial Council in Sar-i-Pul.

217- Aziza Jalis

Aziza Jalis is the daughter of Safiullah, and is born in 1964 in Khesht Pul District of Sar-i-Pul Province. Her mother language is Uzbek but she speaks Dari, Pashto and to some extent English. Jalis completed her secondary education in Khadija High School in Jowzjan Province in 1983. She completed her bachelor degree in Literature from Kabul University in 1988. Jalis taught for eight years at the Imam Zada Yahya High School in Sar-i-Pul. She then served as the principal of a nursery for five years. In 2002, she was appointed as the head of the Sar-i-Pul Department of Women’s Affairs and held the post until 2010. Jalis also worked as a supervisor for the Kowaz organization, overseeing office training programs from 2003 to 2005. Jalis is a former party activist with Hezb-e-Junbish Milli Islami Afghanistan. When the party did not support her in the 2005 parliamentary election, she contested independently for election in 2010.

Muhammad Hussain Fahemi is born in 1963 in Dushakh District, Sar-i-Pul Province. Fahemi speaks Dari, Pashto, and communicate in English. Fahemi received his bachelor degree in Islamic Studies in Iran. He is currently a 4th class student of Law and Politics at the Kateb Private University in Kabul. Fahemi was a commander in Hezb-e Wahdat Islami Afghanistan during the war years. He served as the district governor of Dara-e Suf Payin after the fall of the Taliban, and worked in the provincial planning office. Fahemi was elected to parliament in 2005.

Said Anwar Sadat is born in 1971 in Emankhurd District, Sar-i-Pul Province. His mother language is Uzbek but he speaks Pashto, Dari, and Turkish. Sadat graduated from Menhaj o Siraj school of Sar-i-Pul, and received his Bachelors degree in Journalism from Istanbul University in 2001.Sadat is a journalist, and previously served as General Abdul Rashid Dostum’s press advisor. He is also the manager of Ariana TV in Kabul. He established the first privately owned Afghan TV station, Afghanistan-Ayena TV, in 2002, and served as its head from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, he left to head Turk Tabaran Afghanistan social and cultural organization, later returning to Ayena TV in 2007.
