Samangan provincial council has nine seats. Three of the previous members managed to secure their seats for this term while the rests are new faces.
1- Haji Raz Mohammad Haji Mohammad:
Haji Raz Mohammad Haji Mohammad is the son of Baz Mohammad. He was born in 1955 in Char-Dehi village of Dare Soof district. He studied upto 12th class and then studied in the local Madrassa as well. In the previous term, he was elected to the provincial council and then represented Samangan people as a senator. Now, he is a member of the provincial council.

2- Haji Sifatullah Samangani:
Haji Sifatullah Samangani is the son of Ahmad Khan. He was born in 1988 in Joi Zhwandun area of Aibak city. He studied upto 12th class in Germany. He is now pursuing a degree in law and political science from Maulana Jalaluddin Balkhi University. Earlier, he was member of civil society in Samangan. His father was a member of the parliament who was assassinated in 2012 in Aibak City.

3- Mohammad Pazir Basij:
Mohammad Pazir Basij is the son of Qurban Ali. He was born in 1979 in Dare Soof district. He has studied upto 12th class in Kunduz. Earlier, he served as member of civil society.

4- Qazi Naqibullah Tatar:
Qazi Naqibullah Tatar is the son of Qazi Ghulam Sakhi. He was born in 1987 in Roy-Doab district. He has a degree in Islamic law from Balkh University. Before running for provincial council, he was working as a lawyer.

5- Mohammad Ewaz Beg Beg Oghli:
Mohammad Ewaz Beg Beg Oghli is the son of Samaruddin Beg. He was born in 1986 in Safid Kotal village of Dare Soof district. He has studied Pharmacy upto 14th class. He was a previous member of the provincial council. He has also worked as a civil society member.

6- Masooma Hussni:
Masooma Hussni is the daughter of Mohammad Sadiq. She was born in 1988 in Dare Soof district. She studied till 14th class in Iran and is now pursuing a degree in law and political science from the Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University. She was also a previous member of the provincial council. Before running for provincial council, she was a member of civil society.

Sayed Abudl Alim Sadaat is the son of Mohammad Yusuf. He was born in 1952 in Dare Khuram district. He has studied upto 12th class in agricultural school. He has worked in agriculture department for 27 years. In the previous term also, he was member of the provincial council.

Khatol Sherzoy is the daughter of Haji Juma. She was born in 1967 in Hazrat Sultan district. She has studied till 14th class in Chemistry and Biology. She has worked as a teacher for 27 years in Aibak city. Now she is a member of the provincial council.

Mohammad Hashim Sarwary is the son of Sarajuddin. He was born in 1981 in Dare Zhwandun area of Aibak City. He has a degree in literature from Educational University of Kabul. He has also worked as Chief-editor of a local weekly. Now, he is a member of provincial council.
