Helmand provincial council has 15 members. Four members have also served in the previous term while the rests are new faces. Mohammad Karim Attal is the head of the council, Ibadullah Alizai deputy head and Hayatullah Mayar is the secretary of the council.
1- Mohammad Karim Attal:
Mohammad Karim Attal is the son of Abdul Jabbar. He was born in 1986 in Lashkargah City, the provincial capital of Helmand. He has graduated from Lashkargah High School while received his bachelor degree in political science from Kabul University. Earlier, he had served as director for a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Helmand. He had also his own business.

2- Mirza Hussain Alizada:
Mirza Hussain Alizada: is the son of Dunya Ali. He was born in 1986 in Nad Ali district of Helmand. Alizada graduated from Sayed Abad High School at his home district and later received teacher training for two years. Prior to his membership, he was serving as teacher in Lashkargah.

3- Abdul Majid Akhunzada:
Abdul Majid Akhunzada is the son of Mohammad Nasim Akhunzada. He was born in Kajaki district of Helmand in 1987. He graduated from Islamic High School. Currently, he is pursuing political science degree from Arakozya Institute in Helmand. He had no specific activities before making his way to the provincial council

4- Ibadullah Alizai:
Ibadullah Alizai is the son of Sayyed Adam Khan. He was born in Kajaki district in 1985. He graduated from Lashkargah High School. He is now receiving teacher training from Lashkargah training center. Earlier, he worked as transport officer with the governor’s house of Helmand.

5- Bismillah Rohani:
Bismillah Rohani is the son of Sayyed Mohammad. He was born in Kajaki district in 1979. Rohani has completed his high school in Pakistan’s Quetta City. Prior to his membership, Rohani served as government officer.

6- Nargis Rukhshani:
Nargis Rukhshani is the daughter of Ghulam Hazrat. She was born in Greshk district of Helmand in 1984. She completed her high school in neighboring Iran and received teacher training in English language from Greshk Teacher Training Center. Earlier, she served as principle of Bibi Zohra Girls High School in Greshk and was member of community council.

7- Saiful Maluk Noori:
Saiful Maluk Noori is the son of Yar Mohammad. He was born in Mira village of Vashir district in southern Helmand province in 1954. He was graduated from mathematics department from a teacher training college in Kandahar province. He also served as provincial council member in the previous term in Helmand.

Ataullah Afghan is son of Abdul Hakim. He was born in Landi Shakh village of Nava district in southern Helmand province in 1980. He served as representative in the previous provincial council’s term.

Bashir Ahmad Shakir is the son of Nader Khan. He was born in Lashkargah city in 1984. Sahkir graduated from Lashkargah High School and received his bachelor degree in political science from a private university in Helmand. Earlier, he was active in carrying out activities with the community councils.

10- Alhaj Abdul Ahad Sultanzoi:
Alhaj Abdul Ahad Sultanzoi is the son of Haji Abdul Qoduszoi. He was born in the Nava district of Helmand province in 1963. He completed his high school. He discharged his duties as a teacher and deputy head in high peace council respectively. Earlier, he was member of Meshrano Jirga.

Nabia Rassouli is the daughter of Mohammad Baran. She was born in Lashkargah City in 1986. Rassouli attended high school up to grade 9th in neighboring Iran and then graduated from a high school in Kandahar province. Earlier, she served as a teacher before making her way to the provincial council

Hayatullah Mayar is the son of Abdullah. He was born in Greshk district of Helmand in 1984. He is graduated from Lashkargah High School and then received Islamic education from a teacher training center. Currently, Mayar is pursuing his degree in political science from a private institute in Helmand. Prior to his membership, he served as officer of surveillance in education department.

Razia Baloch is the daughter of Sayyed Mohammad Akram. She was born in the Greshk district of southern Helmand province in 1961. She is graduated from Loya Adi High School. She previously served as provincial council member.

Baryali Nazari is the son of Nazar Ali Wahidi. He was born in Lashkargah City in 1985. Nazari graduated from Lashkargah High School and then received his bachelor of political science from Nangarhar University. Earlier, he served as evaluation director for Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) in Kabul.
