Haji Khalil Ahmad Shahed Zada is born in 1971 in Obeh District, Herat Province, ShahedZada speaks Pashto, Dari, and Arabic. ShahedZada studied up to sixth class at the Jami High School in Herat, and later graduated from Amir UlMuminen High School in Iran in 2004. Shahed Zada was the head of both the development council and the peace council of Obeh District in 2006 to 2010. He attended his 12th class certificate from Sultan Gheyasuddin Ghori High School in Herat in 1988, and then earned his 14th class certificate from the Herat Teacher Training Institute in 1990. He is currently studying Law and Political Science at Kateb University in Kabul, and is in his fourth year of the programme. Tayeb was appointed as the security commander of Gulran District by Shahed Mirwais Sadiq. Tayeb won a parliamentary seat in the 2005 elections. As a teenager, Tayeb helped the Mujahideen in Kakari District on the border of Iran. After some time, he returned to Gulran District and stayed till 1992 when the District surrendered to the Mujahideen. The Taliban later took control, and Tayeb was imprisoned by the Taliban. Since the end of the war, Tayeb has been independent since his earlier connections to Hezb-e-Jamiat Islami Afghanistan. During the transitional government, Tayeb participated in the Emergency Loya Jirga for Gulran District.
