KABUL (Pajhwok): Presidential candidate Rahmatullah Nabil on Tuesday said the presidential election might not produce a clear winner and the ballot could go to a second round.
Terming Saturday’s election as full of rigging, the candidate emphasized on validity of biometric ballots.
Nabil, a former spy chief, told a press conference in Kabul said one vote had been sold for $120 to $180.
He also claimed the ‘State Builder’ electoral team led by Ashraf Ghani, ‘Stability and Partnership’ electoral team led by Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and ‘Peace and Islamic Justice led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar wanted to make people hostage with their bullying.
He said President Ghani presidency was over and he should not create further crisis in the country.
He claimed fraud took place in the September 28 presidential polls, but provided no details in this regard.
Nabil claimed his saw the presidential election taking place one day before the September 28 voting in some districts.
He urged election bodies to separate black and white votes and announce a transparent result.
