KABUL (Pajhwok): A female Wolesi Jirga candidate from southeastern Paktika province, Hela Mujtaba, is holding two national identity cards against the law, Pajhwok has learnt.
Pajhwok Afghan News has obtained copies of both her ID cards, which carry different photos of the holder.
Her first ID card has been issued from Zurmat district of Paktia province in 1387 year, with her age written 19 years and her second ID card has the address of Mata Khan district of Paktika province, issued in 1389 year, without change in her age.
But Hela Mujtaba said she had lived in both the provinces of Patkia and Paktika and she owned land in the two provinces.
She said when she obtained her Tazkira in Zurmat district of Paktika, the province was part of Loya Paktia and her family had been living there.
But later when Paktika was declared a separate province, her family arrived here and she made her ID card here as well because her family had the plan to migrate to Europe.
