"زورمندان محلى در دور دوم انتخابات مداخله نموده اند"

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): The electoral watchdog’s office in northwestern Faryab province on Friday said 121 complaints had been filed against meddling by illegal armed individuals and local strongmen in the June 14 runoff vote.
Independent Electoral Complaints Commission member Syed Jamil Sajjadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that 87 complaints had been lodged against Dr. Abdullah, 26 against Ashraf Ghani and 8 against election workers.
Only five of the complaints are valid, according to Sajjadi, who said the rest were not worth investigating. Most of the grumbles came from Almar, Qaisar, Shirin Tagab and Ghormach districts, or areas where the government has a fragile writ.
Influential individuals smashed observers’ cameras and took away documentary evidence of fraud, the official explained. “We have conveyed our decision to the head office. Our decision can be appealed in Kabul.”
