GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Most residents in Ghazni province say insecurity, joblessness, low quality of education, lack of attention of the officials, and presence of administrative corruption as the main problems in the areas and demand addressing these problems.
Haji Asadullah, resident of Giro district told Pajhwok Afghan News that lack of security, joblessness and lack of attention of officials to education were the key problems in the district.
He added during the last ten years none of the problems of the district have been addressed.
Giro is one of the restive districts of Ghaniz province and is located 60 km south of the provincial capital Ghazni city which has border with Khairkot district of Paktika province.
The residents of another district Waghiz have similar complain and said that security was not good and there have been no facilities for people.
 Nimatulllah, the resident of the district said that joblessness was the main problem, which are the predisposing factor for insecurity and fighting and made people to leave their families to find jobs and work outside.
He said that security, reconstruction and education will reduce the graph of the problems and the lack of trust between people and the government will vanish.
He said when development projects are being implemented in Ghazni province, the residents of the province shall be given the opportunity to work, however there were many projects in the province in which residents of other provinces are working.
Ghulam Faruq, a vendor in Ghazni city said that corruption in government offices and courts was very high and embarrassing and he consider it as the only cause of the lack of the trust between people and the government
He said there was no administration in government in which there is no bribe and nepotism, people were not satisfied with the situation and so far no measures have been taken to address this problem,
Zhulina Faizi, the secretary of the Ghazni provincial council accepts that people have problems in the province and during last ten years the basic problems of the people have not been addressed.
She said insecurity and joblessness, lack of education in remote areas and lack of access to health services and existence of corruption and bribery caused distance between government and the people. 
Faizi said if the Afghan government and international community had paid attention four years back, now the security problem would have been addressed.
The residents of Andar district also blames international community and Afghan government of lack of attention and claimed that during last they did not pay attention to security, governance, reconstruction and social development of the people 
Lal Khan, a resident of the district said that resident of Andar stood to maintain the security, they lost lives to maintain security, but the government and international community did not pay attention to the area “after the upraising in Andar district in last ten month, security has been established in 80 per cent village, but still there has been no attention to the problems and needs of the village”
Residents of Nawar Ali Yawar Zafari accused Afghan government and International community for the lack of attention in the area.
He added in the secure areas there is the opportunity for the development works, but no projects have been initiated by the government and international community, nevertheless the health situation has not improved and people do not have access to health services.
In remote areas traveling is hard and people are unable to take patients to health facilities, while the construction of the road will address the problem.
A nomad in Ghazni province said that in last ten years they did not get any assistance from international community or Afghan government.
Muhmood Khan said that with the collapse of government and the establishment of the new government, no attention has been paid to the life of nomads in Ghazni province “in recent years government and international community made hundreds of promises, but had not been fulfilled any of them”
He said nomads have health problems, grazing problems, while there have been talks about shelter and land distribution in parliament and government, but so far nothing has taken place.
During the summer about 12000 nomads live, while during winter only 3000 nomads remain.
Dr. Ghani Bahadari, a tribal elder and member of the peace council accepted, in last ten years even not 20 per cent of the problems of the people in remote areas have not been addressed.
He said insecurity was the biggest problem which has affected the normal life of the people in all aspect of life including business, farming and private life.
He added insecurity stalked all development works including education, health services and the governance in the province.
He said corruption, mafia and warlords and powerful people are the biggest hurdles, unless the problems are not addressed there won’t be any trust.
In general, people considered insecurity, administrative corruption, joblessness as the key problems in the province.
